Lucky the sun was out again this week in Melbourne, so I took the opportunity to get the pins out and absorb as much Vitamin D as I could, I think my body is in deficiency as of late, so I road tested my new skirt from sabo skirt. Floral is still very much in at the moment and if you haven't got on board as yet there is still time to do so, as only the other day I opened up the current issue of British Vogue and saw another editorial featuring florals.

This post is a little unlike me, if you do read my blog posts regularly you know that I favour the darker, edgier look that I have affectionately called 'dirty grunge' but i thought I might do the 'pretty' look and see if it suited....LOL. What do you think?

Will you be my Boyfriend, that is the million dollar question! No, currently I am wearing these jeans to death as they are super comfy and are such a nice alternative to snug as a bug super skinnies. So easy to wear casualy or dressed up, I have opted for a casual/dressy look in this shot just to confuse you, but in all honesty you can wear these with pretty much anything and they are fool proof to style. Just roll the bottoms up in a small cuff add the jumper/shirt/singlet/oversized tee and away you go! My fave combos are knitted jumpers/heels or oversized shirts/ Hi-top Kicks. Finally the Sun came out in Melbourne! I was honestly wandering what was going on lately, so wet and miserable, it has been hard to motivate myself to get out and about, let alone stand in freezing winds trying to get outfits shot for you all. :)

The gorgeous ladies from Wish, Madeline and Rosemary sent me this printed to perfection 'premonition dress' . I know its a maxi and maxi dresses are meant to be for summer, but this is such an easy way to style maxi's for winter. Any oversize jumper can be thrown on over the top to achieve a classic boho look, perfect for any winter day. Just remember to keep it simple up top with basic jumpers. I know so many of you have plenty of maxi dresses in your wardrobe, so why not try this look and save some cash for the divine Proenza Schouler PS 11 bag  that I am saving for and must have.....now!

Im very much embracing my new defined style of "dirty grunge' so when the fabulous guys from label White Wolf sent me this Trucker cap I was wrapped as it suits my look down to a tee.  I have been hunting around the the 'right' leopard print pants for so long, as i think one can walk a very fine line between trashy and fashionable. I found these baby's at a store I happend to walk past and to my excitement they are woolen, which makes it that much better as I am in Melbourne and this 'cold snap' that we are experiencing is literally killing my life, I am always chilled to the bone!

I am currently scouring everywhere for different printed leggings, I love the versatility and so many ways you can wear them. The beauty about printed leggings is you can dress them up with an amazing open toe stiletto or completely dress them down to a 'dirty grunge' kind of look, which is my favourite. I have made this a new style, well my style, as friends of mine have asked me lately  what my style is and after thinking about it and not having a specific fashion term I came up with "dirty grunge". so in saying that printed leggings fit into my style perfectly. Definately go out and try this look and walk around in your 'personality pants', the crazier the better. Remember to keep it simple/basic up top with plain tops and jackets.

Denim is a natural staple in anyone's wardrobe, its like a good basic black/white top it can be paired with just about anything for summer or winter. I have to say I haven't played around with the double denim look, but I think my next shoot i'm going to pair my new ripped boyfriend jeans with this denim shirt. Stay on the lookout for it and till then get out there and get yourself a demin/chambray shirt and start mixing it into your wardrobe

I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with skulls at the moment, anything with a skull printed on it and I insantly want it. There is a trend emerging at the moment with every blogger and off duty model adoping a vintage rock look, which I am really embracing. I like the thought of heading back to the 90's when Pearl Jam and Nirvana tee's were in with ripped faded black jeans and Dr Martens. Not only is it dark and cool, it moves away from ladylike dressing, finding a more androgynous feel! If you regularly follow my posts, you would know that I favour wearing black and like a bit of a dirtier, sexier edge to my look.

Its a Rainy Kinda day

Its been pretty miserable in Melbourne lately, which has made it hard to get some outfit pics snapped. This little number was the outcome of a break in the weather and me 'having' to wear my new shorts, even if it was cold! These shorts are just the right amount of pretty, I absolutely love the colours as it is so easy to team with neutrals and brights. They are the perfect multi seasonal piece, which means you will be keeping some extra cash in that LV purse of yours!

I am loving pilling on bracelets, bangles and wrist junk with wild abandon, not caring what colours are getting mixed up amognst all the stacking! Was rifiling through my wardrobe the other day and stumbled upon these floral little beauties, kinda shorts, kinda skirt, its one of those hybrid little wonders that keep people guessing, which I find amusing! Floral is still so 'on trend' at the moment, jeans, blazers and shirts are all out there and so easy to mix and match with other basic pieces in your wardrobe. Think black jeans, white v neck basic tee and floral blazer.....The perfect floral delight.
