Melbourne summers can be quite hot, I found these shorts when searching through General Pants Co and instantly loved the mustard colour and draped effect it gave my body. Im not a massive fan of tight outfits, as I think soft feminine lines and loose, bellowey tops are far more flattering and leave more to the imagination...

This look can be replicated so easily as so many retailers at the moment are stocking such fabulous high waisted shorts in a variety or fabulous prints. All you need to do is buy a few basic staple tee's like the Fluxus Deep V Tank and an over the top hardware necklace and you have an great look that will take you through to all the endless summer parties you have coming up.  ;)

A lot of the time when I am drving I spot the most incedible locations, this was one of them. I found a field of daises and thought it would be a perfect location for this shoot. 

I am wearing a pair of printed shorts to which I have added a loose knitted jumper to keep a floaty feel and keep the look effortless for the day. You can also pair this outfit with a simple pair of black ballet flats or sandals. Loves

Christmas is over for another year.....sigh! I love gift giving AND receiving  ;)

I have posted a pic of my fabulous Marc Jacobs Petal to the Metal Pouchette that I received for xmas....loving how versatile it is, I can pop all the essentials in and not have to worry about lugging a big carry all around (although I do love my oversize bags...better for winter though!)

While I was just away in Bali I purchased a beautiful white and grey maxi dress, so floaty and effortless, will be pairing these with my cute asos tan sandals. I know I have wardrobe 'blanks' all the time, where I stare at my clothes hanging up, proclaiming "i have nothing to wear" , we ALL do! So my advice is by a few cute maxi dresses and pair them with sandals or wedges for a quick 'savior'  when in dire straits...

Meeting up with the girls for some festive drinks before the week gets crazy, I decided to wear something a little girly. It was a fairly warm night in Melbourne, but I really wanted to wear my long black maxi skirt, so i resorted to tying it up to make it a little shorter, hence cooler! I bought this Sportsgirl tee earlier in the week and thought it would look cute tucked in, put some wedges on to finish the look so I would be polished  for the rest of the  night, incase we kicked on and visited the endless bars that were surrounding us  ;)

I am really looking forward to xmas time at home to spend time with the family and also because  I know there is a special Marc Jacobs present under the tree for me which I am dying to open.... pics up soon!! :) Also I wanted to wish you all a wonderful xmas and thank you for the support and love during the year

I was staring at my wardrobe the other day looking for an outfit, when i pulled out this vintage Led Zepplin tee. I bought it from General Pants about a year ago and loved how 70's rock it was, I threw on some thrifted boots i found and put together a laid back look. A perfect combo for day at Coachella or any of the upcoming festivals hitting our shores in summer

As you know TOPSHOP opened in Melbourne this week, so I thought instead of getting caught up in the hysteria (trust me I will soon, I just need a little space while I shop, hehe)  I would get lost  in the most amazing little alleyways and cafes of Melbourne city. 

While getting lost I found such talented artwork and a few little pieces from ZARA that I "had" to have.
