Winging It
Topshop Leather/Army Jacket, Alexander Wang Singlet/ Cheap Monday Jeans/ Zara Boots/ Le Specs Sunglasses/ Micael Kors Watch/ Spell Gypsy Designs Necklace
Sometimes Melbourne doesn't know how to make up its mind, one minute we are melting because its so hot, the next I'm digging out my jackets, scarves and gloves. The next few days are not going to be very 'summery' at all so I have opted to wear the most versatile jacket I could find, added my wardrobe staple 'black jeans', a simple tank (just incase it gets hot, you never know in melbourne!!) and a pair of boots. I thought I would let my boots do the talking for this outfit and keep the rest pretty simple.

Buckles and Stripes
Sportsgirl Tee/ Cheap Monday Jeans/ Topshop hi tops/One Teaspoon Leather Belt/ Vintage Princess Suede Bag/ Ray Ban Sunglasses
There is nothing more classic than a striped tee, quite possibly one of my favourite staple items ever! My wardrobe is filled with different shapes, styles and fabric variations.
It is one of those items that you can wear with anything, look for classic shapes like singlets for mutli layering (with a block colour) or a simple striped navy/black/ white crew neck jumper to add to shorts, jeans, skirts etc.
If you follow me through instagram (misslisao) you would see my love affair/fascination with skulls. I love anything skull related, my house has got so many skulls around you would think you have walked into a mortuary! I found this skull leather belt from One Teaspoon, which is one of my favourite Australian brands. I love the detail and wide leather of this belt to which I can dress down but also possibly toughen up a dress and make it look pretty but with a tougher edge (my kinda style). If you like this belt head on over to oneteaspoon.com and see if they have a few left!

Back to Basics
Zara Blazer/ Zara Camo Skinny Pants/ Rayban Sunglasses/ Tony Bianco Ajana Heels/ Michaela Menichelli Sierra Clutch/ Michael Kors watch
So I am back.....finally!! I needed a little break over the silly season as 2012 was a big year with lots of work and fun stuff included.
I'm still mad about camo, if you have read my earlier posts I have written that's its quite a trend right now and when worn simply can look truly amazing not tacky!
I found these great pants from Zara when I was looking for something completely unrelated, (this is the story of my life) and I had to have them (another story of my life). As I have stated previously I think camo works well when paired with basics, it tends to look 'effortlessly cool' not 'GI Jane'. There are select pieces that I think are needed in ones wardrobe and they include a kakhi/camo jacket, camo tee or camo skinnies. I feel that this trend will go round and round and will always come back into fashion so invest in something camo and you never know it might end up being a great 'vintage' piece down the track for you! :)
