Busting out the Black and White
Wearing: Topshop Black Tee/ Junk Clothing Bustier/ ASOS Vintage Brady BF Jeans/ Wittner Bayard Heels/ Ray Ban Aviators
A simple colour palette goes so far in any ones wardrobe, and when I mean simple I mean blacks, whites, greys, denim etc. Its safe to say that any one of these colours/fabrics will go with just about anything you already have. Melbourne is definitely a mix of greys, whites and so much black, that in winter it is quite interesting to see how we coordinate our fashion wardrobes with each new winter season. Another talent that we have is layering, I don't think any other state in Oz knows how to layer as well as we do, hiding multiple layers and making it look more chic than snowman-like
I have got to say I am loving the bustier over tees and long sleeved tops, the kind of "Ive tried to look casual, but im definitely put together" look.
Anyway its something to think about and give it a go, experimenting :)

ASOS State Of Fashion
Wearing: Witchery Knit/ ASOS Leather Skirt/ 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Bag /Ray Ban Aviators /Wittner Bayard Heels
Winter in Melbourne! It’s got to be my least favorite time
of the year but it does have its plus sides to it. Melbourne is cold during
winter, there is no way around it, whether your outside or inside its cold and it feels
like you are never, ever going to see a warm sunny day….ever! (lol slight
exaggeration)
There are plus sides that I can see to a Melbourne winter
and that is definitely winter fashion. If you asked me to sum up what Melbourne
fashion is all about in winter, I would have to say lots of black, leather, and
layering is the key. ASOS have put together a great event called ‘State of
Fashion’ and as one of its bloggers, the above look is my take on Melbourne
winter fashion. ASOS now want you to take part in this style challenge and
style yourself in your winter look and represent your state, the lucky winner
will receive a $1000 dollar ASOS wardrobe and ultimate ‘state cred’ as the best
dressed .
I know my fellow Melbournians’ know that we truly are the
style capital of Australia and I am hoping one of us takes the crown!
Goodluck ;)

Acid & All That
Zara Baroque Jumper/ Junk Clothing Denim Dress/ Topshop Wedge Hi Tops/ Ray Ban Aviators
Hi there, remember me..... life has been hectic and I havent posted anything lately.....so I have got to say a BIG sorry :( I will be posting more often now and I have a few shoots coming up which I cant wait for you to see and get inspired.
Demin is one of those staple items that can be worn in any season and at any time and at the moment 90's grunge is having a massive revival. This Junk Clothing acid wash denim dress is a perfect fit for this 90's grunge vibe, I literally have thrown on a black knit and some hi tops and have got my 90's look.
You can wear this dress with anything, next I will style it with a pair of opaque black stockings, my Dc Marten boots and an oversize chunky black cardigan. Lookout for the pics up soon on the blog.

Back in black, can't keep me away from it, so much so, majority of my wardrobe consists of this colour and leopard, of course! I cant really say im the bright, colourful type of woman! I much prefer dark hues whether that be jeans, tops, jumpers or jackets. These JET jeans pictured are seriously one of my favourte pieces in my wardrobe, they feel like leggings and are so comfy, the added bonus are the rips and distressed holes. You can find these exact pair on the Lysana website, Perfect for the months ahead battling the Melbourne Winter.

At the Moment I feel like I am seeing so many sleveless jackets everywhere. I love them just quietly. Josh Goot released his 'Deep Sea' version as part of his Collection and I fell in love with it upon seeing it. I found this similar version at Sportsgirl and felt like I had hit the jackpot!
I love how the image is blurred through the colourful print and the added hood makes it cosy and warm for the winter months ahead. Ive teamed it with my Bassike slouch pants which are so comfy, I feel like I am going to wear these to death this winter. I love the dropped crutch and relaxed feel of these pants and for me its versatility speaks for itself!

Wish Style Challenge

WISH is a brand that is synonymous with style and confidence, so when the team at WISH asked me to be a part of the 'Wish Style Challenge' I jumped at the chance. Wish's new range captures the very essence of a fashion forward female, luxxe furs, aztec inspired prints and leather adorn the A/W13 range. For this challenge I have styled the Delve Jacket with an ASOS floral pencil skirt. If you read my blog regularly, you would know that im not the biggest fan of dressing up and looking 'pretty', preferring 'dirty grunge', so this look is my spin on a pretty/dirty grunge option! haha :)
7/8th skirts like the ASOS one in this shoot are so on trend at the moment, providing a beautiful silhouette for a woman's body and appealing to the classic curves rather than the leg baring, thigh skimming alternative. By adding a hooded leather jacket like the super soft WISH Delve, it allows an edgier look that can be worn both day and night making it so versatile.
One main reason why I chose this jacket, to style is it's ability to be worn with absolutely everything meaning I can mix and match it with my entire wardrobe and keep some spare change in my purse for other 'must have' items.

Stripes, Stripes and more stripes! Currently my obsession along with leopard print (that will be in another post soon) I love the clean lines and french sailor flavour that comes along with wearing classic stripe anything! Melbourne is currently transitioning into autumn and its getting cooler, so I am going to be teaming this little striped number with my boyfriend jeans (cuffed) and a pair of flats, leopard or otherwise. :)
Have a great weekend ahead xx

Its all about the leather at the moment. On all runways from New York right through to Paris, seen on all the fash pack. The best thing about this trend is that so many fashion retailers online and at shops are bringing out high quality faux leather pieces which make it so easy and affordable to get this look.
I absolutely adore these shorts that where sent to me by the lovely team at Junk Clothing. Since wearing them I have had so many people ask me where I got them from. The beauty of these, is that they are such a flattering cut (not super short) with pin-tucks at the front and side pockets that dont stick out, flattering almost every body shape and they are super comfy.
I have teamed these shorts with a denim shirt and heels, but you can wear them anyway you want. Team it with cute printed jumpers and high tops, tees and blazers or a peplum and heels. Totally multi-seasonal and not going out of fashion ever! :)
PS I promise not to leave it so long between blog posts! xx

Racey Lacey
ASOS Lace Dress/Michaela Menichelli Bag/ Michael Kors Rose Gold Watch/ ASOS Floral Heels
I know you never catch me in a pretty dress so I thought 'theres no time like the present!'
I think my aversion to dresses is that I feel like they make me look too girlie? All of you who read my blog and follow me on instagram know I love, love, love, my 'dirty grunge' look, a little dirty, a little pretty, a little grungy, but totally me! So when I found this amazing dress and shoes when researching ASOS online for dresses for my friends wedding I felt like I had hit the jackpot, as it fits my style to a tee and I'm pretty sure I cant rock into the wedding wearing a gunners tee and leather...or maybe??
This particular style of dress still fits my edgier look but still has a little 'pretty' mixed in! I love the 3/4 lace sleeves as it allows me to accessorize with bracelets and bangles and the Deep V back of the dress gives it a sexy throwback! So now I can feel comfortable and myself at the wedding which is always so important :)

Topshop Leather/Army Jacket, Alexander Wang Singlet/ Cheap Monday Jeans/ Zara Boots/ Le Specs Sunglasses/ Micael Kors Watch/ Spell Gypsy Designs Necklace
Sometimes Melbourne doesn't know how to make up its mind, one minute we are melting because its so hot, the next I'm digging out my jackets, scarves and gloves. The next few days are not going to be very 'summery' at all so I have opted to wear the most versatile jacket I could find, added my wardrobe staple 'black jeans', a simple tank (just incase it gets hot, you never know in melbourne!!) and a pair of boots. I thought I would let my boots do the talking for this outfit and keep the rest pretty simple.
